It started, as good quests always do, with a family tale.
Myrtle V Faulkner (Nelson, John M, Samuel, William) was born in Tioga Center, Tioga Co, New York, May 29th 1877, to parents Nelson Faulkner and Martha Shaw.
Myrtle married Daniel W Knarr (1873-1945) on March 4th 1895 in Clinton Co, Pennsylvania.
The couple had nine children:

Myrtle was born in Tioga County, New York and moved with her family to Clearfield Co, Pennsylvania when she was 3 years old.
Myrtle was a housewife and mother, her husband Daniel worked for the railroad in various capacities his whole life. The family lived mostly in Clinton Co, PA but moved for a brief time around 1910 to Westmoreland Co, PA.
The family was of the Methodist faith.
Myrtle V Faulkner Knarr died September 29th 1923 of Lethargic Encephalitis. She was 46 years old. She is buried in Flemington Cemetery in Flemington, PA.
Daniel W Knarr died October 20th 1945 of Pneumonia. He was 72 years old. He is buried alongside his wife in Flemington Cemetery.
