Finding Faulkner: The Progeny | Louisa Faulkner {Gen 4}

It started, as good quests always do, with a family tale.

Louisa Faulkner (Harrison H, Robert, Samuel, William) was born in Monroe Twp, Kosciusko Co, Indiana June 23rd 1857, to parents Robert Nelson Faulkner and Julia Ann King.

Louisa married William J Klingel (1856-1936) in Kosciusko Co. Indiana on June 29th 1880.

The couple had three children:

  • Charles Frederick Klingel b. 23 Apr 1883 d. 31 Oct 1967 m. (1)Iva E Boggs (2) Lois LNU no issue
  • Ralph F Klingel b. 18 Apr 1888 d. 26 Nov 1973 m. Lois E Firestone
  • Julia Berneice Klingel b. 29 Mar 1890 d. 27 Oct 1968 m. Ralph W Bartol

Louisa, like most women of her generation, was a homemaker. Her husband William was self employed as a harness maker and ran his own shop. When he retired from his trade, either by age or by the popularity of the motor car, he did odd jobs to support himself and Louisa.

William J Klingel died May 24th 1936 and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Kosciusko Co., IN.

Louisa Faulkner Klingel followed her husband just 4 years later. Louisa died January 17th 1940 of Myocarditis and is buried alongside her husband in the Oakwood Cemetery.
