Finding Faulkner: The Progeny | Charles Anderson Faulkner {Gen 4}

It started, as good quests always do, with a family tale.

Charles Anderson Faulkner (James Bull, Joseph, James, William) was born in Carbondale, Lackawanna Co, PA, July 26th 1864, to parents James Bull Faulkner and Susan Murdock.

Charles married Beatrice Frances Silverstone (1874-UNK) in 1896, most likely in Tolland Co, CT.


Charles and Beatrice had at least one child:

• Lionel Everett Faulkner b. 2 Aug 1901 d. 12 Feb 1971 m. (1) Mary Adele Raleigh (2) Emily Berry Eagan (3) Mary Grace Rice

Charles was a telegraph operator for the railroad. His job may have taken him to Connecticut where he met his wife. 

Charles Anderson Faulkner died December 31st 1932 and is buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Lackawanna Co, PA with his parents. He was 68 years old.

The death of Beatrice F Silverstone Faulkner is unknown. She is last found on the 1940 US Census living in Tolland Co, CT with her grandson Duane.

Finding Faulkner: The Progeny | Elizabeth Priscilla Faulkner {Gen 4}

It started, as good quests always do, with a family tale.

Elizabeth Priscilla Faulkner (James Bull, Joseph, James, William) was born in Carbondale, Lackawanna Co, PA, March 10th 1854, to parents James Bull Faulkner and Susan Murdock.

Elizabeth married William Henry Moyles (1855-UNK) in May 1871 in Carbondale, Lackawanna Co, PA.

Elizabeth and William had at least six children:

• Frances L Moyles b. 10 Apr 1872 d. 11 May 1938 m. Patrick J Powderly
• Anna Bell Moyles b. 4 Oct 1873 d. 1951 m. George MacLeod
• Elizabeth P Moyles b. 6 Aug 1876 d. 10 Dec 1942 m. Frederick Watt
• Richard Moyles b. 21 Nov 1877 d. UNK never married
• Gertrude Grace Moyles b. 1879 d. 10 Jun 1886
• Charles F Moyles b. 19 Feb 1882 d. UNK

Another mystery family. William Henry Moyles was born in England. The couple met and married in Carbondale, PA. William was a brakeman for the railroad. 

Elizabeth P Faulkner Moyles died March 10th 1892. She was 38 years old. It was her birthday. Elizabeth is buried with her parents in the Maplewood Cemetery in Lackawanna Co, Pennsylvania.

It is unknown when William died; his whereabouts are unknown after 1880.
