Finding Faulkner: The Progeny | Eliza Marie Faulkner {Gen 3}

It started, as good quests always do, with a family tale.

Eliza Marie Faulkner (Robert, Samuel, William) was born in Wayne Co, New York, July 1st 1831 to parents Robert Faulkner and his wife Sally Ann.

Eliza married Jacob Hagerman (b. 1822 d. 1895) on November 20th 1851 in Koscuisko Co, IN.

At least seven children were born to Eliza and Jacob:

Eliza Marie and her husband Jacob lived in Indiana until at least 1863, as their first five children were all born in that state. Sometime between 1863 and 1869 the couple headed west, their fifth child, Julia Ann, was born in Missouri in 1869. In 1870 the family is found in Labette County, Kansas, where they remained for the rest of their lives.

Eliza Marie Faulkner Hagerman's death is unknown. Some researchers state 1919, she is last found on the 1885 Kansas State census. She is buried in Ellis Cemetery in Labette County, Kansas, there is no headstone.
